Smart connector to iPad and so you do not need to pair with the iPad. Also it does not need to be charged, it pulls power from the iPad. If you don’t want to use the keyboard it’s hidden away.
I am throwing in the back case for free that will also hold an Apple Pencil or stylus because the keyboard case only covers the front of the iPad.
There is nothing wrong with this one, I recently upgraded and it doesn’t work with mine anymore. I wished they had it for my new one. It will come in original packaging.
