Full chromoly steel Schwinn Moab ss mtb frame in dark grey / matte black sized Medium or 19.5” standover in terrific condition & hands down one of the best steel mountain bike models Schwinn produced. The 1993moab SS included a very special feature that was only available for that year, & that year alone, & that was the experimental suspension forks Tange had developed which operated & cushioned impacts using air pressurized chambers instead of relying on hydraulic fluid filled chambers prone to leaking & other issues. Those forks are the end result of that design, & they were offered on the SS Moab model only. Named the Tange StrutsGS, each fork blade contains 4 internal chambers separated by O Rings, & uses the 4 pressurized chambers to disperse impact energy. They feature a 1 1/8 threaded steerer tube w/ Tioga avenger headset along with 990 cantilever brake mounts & cable guides on both front forks & rear frame.
