This is a vintage Ceramic Foo or Fu (Guardian Lion) Dog statue. The Guardian Lion originated in China but westerners thought it resembled a dog. This piece is a bold blue ceramic dog made in Japan. There is ONE small chip (see pic that is zoomed in on).
